Default Pioneer DEH-P860MP AUTO TA & AUTO EQ ADJUSTMENT

For those of you who have used the unit's auto mode to set up the time delay and EQ settings, just how loud do the test noises get?

Should I set the amp sensitivity way down so volume doesn't get too loud?

Is it just white noise from each speaker?

Thanks!

It will do white noise for the testing. Should do each speaker individually and then the subs (if any).
You want to place the mic on the headrest of the drivers seat and step out of the vehicle, as you will interfer witht the testing and could result in inaccurate setting.
I would set the gains on the amps before the auto setting. The volume should not get too loud.
Once done, sit back and enjoy.
