Default How to gap plugs??

I am getting a set of NGK TR6 spark plugs to go along with the nitrous I am adding. And I have heard that gapping at .035 is the best. How do you gap the plugs? I have no idea. What does it mean? And is .035 the best??

Thanks,
Justin

The spark plug gap tool. You will see what he is talking about when you get one.
I got one question...You are going to run N20 and you don't even know how to gap a spark plug?

You'd be suprised at the amount of people who know a lot of technical stuff and what not, but have no clue how to do some of the little things. Basically you bend the electrode (the little thing that hooks over the middle) to where the GAP is the desired measurement in inches. The little round tool is tapered and has numbers. You slide the plug on the circle until it stops. Then the number there is the gap of the plug. If it isn't what you want bend it and repeat.

You got that right! Some can't even change their own oil but will tell you exactly how to do it. Hand them a wrench and they're dead in the water.

Anyway, Thanks to MR1911 for excellent pics and step-by-step instructions. This forum needs more guys like him.
