Default Swaping bad PCM with locked LS1Edit

My PCM went bad recently.

1. How do I switch it out - is it a matter of just pulling some wire connections and putting in the new unit? Or is this a dealer project only?

2. How do I get a locked version of LS1Edit to work with the new PCM?

Or you can take the $200 you were going to spend to add your license, and trade in your Edit on HPT. I'm not a huge HPT fan as some may know, but its a good deal. You can trade in your LS1 Edit and pay I think $350 for the standard cable and have a program that is 10x better. I tried to find the link but to no avail. The search on HPTs site isn't the best.

When you get the PCM back you will more than likely have to perform a CASE Learn and passkey learn. I am not sure if LS1 edit will do it but HPTuners will.
