My advice...get a different set of headers. I've got macs and have had nothing but problems out of them since day 1. I've got a leak in the collector that is a defect from the factory. Many people on here have the same problem and Mac won't warranty it.

I looked all over for Macs w/ the catted Y. I ended up going through Thunder Racing. I believe it was $700 bucks for everything. I was going to piece one together, but after you add the price of a new Y pipe, and cats, it always seems to come out to the same number. This way I know the whole system will go together like a glove.
I've been researching the mids for 2 years, and 99.99% of people love and swear by them. (the people who have them that is) They are close to the same power as the LTs, but there are half the fit and finish issues.

the mac headers in my possesion hold the the record for a stock ls1 in the 1/4, Big Mike ran a 9.?? time with them.
