Default Cluster Problem

I have a 99 trans am, and every time u hit the gas hard, or brake hard, the clusters, tach, speed and everything reset real quick, radio turns off to. I have been hearing that it might be a bad ground, but just wondering if anyone had any ideas

check your battery mount.

I have seen where when you gas it hard, the battery rocks into the AC canister, and the + terminal will arc on the bracket/canister. This will cause the cluster to act weird, the car may stumble too.

I had a similar problem with another car, turned out to be a poor battery terminal connection.
