Default Voltage drop under acceleration?

Just wondered if anyone has experienced this and what the problem is? I have a small Hawker battery (about 7 months old) and March under drive pulley, but this has not happened before. When I get on the throttle, say more than 50%, the voltage meter on the dash drops into the orange zone and the motor starts to stutter. Also, the gauges on the dash has started to "fluctuate" slightly while under normal driving sometimes. Is this the alternator going out? Battery? Something else? I have no extra electronics in the car and hardly use the stock radio. Thanks.

Default

Could be your alternator. Lots of parts places such as Autozone will test for free.
