Ws6 Ascd Hood/functional??

Ws6 Ascd Hood/functional?? Will the ASCD WS6 hood for the 98-02 Trans-Am work with the standard non-WS6 airbox? I have a stock 02 TA and am shopping for a functional hood, I would like it to work with my stock airbox, but also may want to put the WS6 taller airbox on it in the future. Please advise.

if im understanding the question correctly, i dont beleve the hood will retain any function untill you get the raised airbox, but the hood will not conflict with the closed air box
