Default Prep calipers for paint

What methods, if any, did you guys use to prepare brake calipers for paint?

I bought the caliper brush on paint kit at kragen for 15$ and it came with cleaner. Just used some rags and an old toothbrush to clean. The brush on paint is nice since you dont have to tape everything up like you do with spray paint.

yah the kit comes with everything you need. I also use a wire pad on a drill and they cleaned up with ease.
