Gto runs great...
No issues with the AC on or off.......
Pulls real hard to 6200,lots of power above 4000.....
Has nice off idle lowend tq....

Don is awesome he has the tune almost perfect on the 1st crack and thats tuning via the internet...The man is the best,other than alittle more timing and some added fuel down low (LTrims were alittle off) the cars perfect,cold start is awesome no hunting or rolling and the shifts are nice too :D

U can faintly hear the lope,I mean very faint...
Just what I wanted for this car...

N20 or Blower next :devil:

Yes it really feels nice to have a car that stops,handles and move away from a light rather easy plus has ice cold AC :D

Scotty the cam is small but packs a whallop with the shorty header...The big split and cam timing events mimic the Cheatr cam that PatrickG runs,I talked to him in length about running this cam and for $61.00 I figured it was worth a try....I wanted dead stock like idle,good lowend and a broad hp curve across the rpm range..It pulls hard to 6200....

Scotty,I think with a good set of heads I can make 375RW threw my A4..
And have NO Issues....

I figured if I'm going to build another race car its gonna run at least 8.20's,no more 10 Sec cars for me..My GTO will be a nice low 12 Sec street car that if the situation finds itself nessessary I'll add a 100 shot just for the added warm fuzzy feeling...:)

I'm not sure what I did right/wrong, but I have that with my TR224/112 that everyone said would have a decent lope. I can't hear it. Idles like stock and pulls from any rpm. You probably get better gas mileage though.

I had the TR224 on a 112 weeks after it came out in my WS6,its not a stock idle bro...If u have manifolds and cats it'll be pretty mellow but it wont sound stock...

I heard a TR224/112 on ls1sounds.com and heard a very pronounced lope. I thought sheesh, mine don't sound like that. I idle at 775 to boot.

There is always the possibility that I received the wrong cam. :lol:

Guess your just real--------------->Technical....
Yep thats how u got a 112LSA came to sound stock------>NOT ;)

Seriously...I could have received the wrong cam. I didn't have it spec'd to double check it was correct.

I was only agreeing with you. I wanted the same characteristics for my car.

Hmm,maybe u did get the 114.....
I remember now u couldnt get your car to hook that day....

I pulled out the receipt from Thunder and they billed me for a TR224/112. I can't remember what markings were on the cam itself. The car used to have a little lope before it was tuned, but only on cold startup. Once it warmed up it really didn't lope even untuned. Unless I'm just not hearing it from the uber silent Dual/Dual.?.?.

I just put a TR224 on a 112 in the WS6 and it is definately noticible. :D Hell even the 114 in the GTO makes people look. :D

Joel, glad to hear the cars running good, any victims yet? ;)

Cool, keep the tools as long as you need them. T1 is a great cam and will work great with that converter. Are the Edelbrocks out yet? Do you think they would be a good combo with the TR224s we are using(112 and 114)?

JS

They (Edlebrocks) would rock in your cars...
They should be out in about 4 to 6 weeks and I cant wait...

Well the GTO is now a impersonating a Ferrarri.....The combo of the shorty/!resonator and X gives the GTO an exotic sound..Its clean with a RRRRRRRRRRRRR instead of a bop blip blup bop now.....

Seems to me that I picked up alittle TQ from the X pipe but its hard to tell.Downloading my revised Slowhawk tune in about hr. and then I'm going for alittle Ltrim tuning ;)
