Default how accurate are the shots??

is a "50-shot of nitrous" accurate to an addition of 50 hp to the car. my car is mostly stock...is a 50 shot ok to put on my ls1 ws6 or will it hurt it. im a newb

Yes, it is. When someone says they are spraying a 100 shot they are spraying enough nitrous to make an additional 100 HP/TQ. Now there are two ways that the manufactures rate their shots, one is at the crank the other is at the wheels. So if the kit is rated at the crank and you spray a 100 shot you won't see 100 at the rear wheels. If you spray a 100 shot that is rated at the wheels you'll see 100 at the wheels and a bit more at the crank. Hope I'm clear enough for ya.

You would be fine on a 50 shot. In fact you could up the shot if you wanted to.

it depends on the manufacturer. the two kits i use, ny-trex and compucar, rate at motor.

will it hurt your motor? if you use it wrong, sure will. if you use it correctly, it will not. i run 200 and 175 and both cars.

NX is at the wheels. A 100 shot netted 98 hp at the rear on the dyno with a single nozzle setup. Torque was near 150 at the rear!

i have the nos 5177 nitrous kit and a 34 and a 39 jet in it and i got 70 hp to the wheels and i have been running it for a while just getting ready to put a second set up for an additional 70 rwhp 2nd stage to the car still stock bottom end but all fuel mods have been done tranny is getting ready to go (A4) but i also have other mods if you are an m6 just worry about the rear if you got sticky tires and you come out the hole strong
