Actually, if you do it right, there's no need to plug anything. First of all, the guys at Thunder Racing yanked all mine (I installed the headers and LS6 intake, then while getting it tuned they yanked it all in about 2 minutes). So, give them a call to confirm what I'm saying.

On the rear of the driver side coil packs are 2 solenoids. One bolts to the manifold, the other has a slip in tab. Both of these come off, along with all hoses. One of the small hoses snakes around to the back of the intake manifold. It connects to a "Y" connection, then to the intake manifold. You can take off this "Y" connection completely, then reconnect the remaining hose (the one NOT from the AIR system) directly to the intake.

The two big hoses that run from the heads, to the firewall, makes a "Y", and then over the driver side wheel well can come off. Where it disappears into the hole in the front of the car, just cut the hose to make life easier. Then, get underneath the car. In front of the driver side front tire, remove the black plastic cover under the parking light. You will see a big pump bolted to the frame, with 2 hoses coming out. One of the hoses is the one you cut - the other is connected to the breather hose. Remove this, and both hoses.

You should have no more open hoses or anything. There should be no need to "plug" anything. Like I said, I didn't do all this, but I watched. Hope this helps!

Just yank it off. Something like the guy above me said, but there is a checkvalve from the T fitting in the back of the intake. Initially when I did mine I just pulled out the air hoses and left the little hose from the back of the intake. No probs. When I changed the heads and intake a couple weeks back I did the block off. Really fast job. If you ned to make it nice (which you cant see anyway) reach around the back of the intake from the passenger side and feel for the hose connected to the T fitting in the back of the intake. The one comes out sideways on the t fitting is the one for the air. You can pull it off from there and plug it with a screw. I would just leave it.

Yes you definitely want to plug it, otherwise it's like a vacuum leak. Just get one of those small rubber caps. Either plug that line directly, or leave it attached to the small solenoid and plug the other fitting on the solenoid (what I did when I had the AIR off).

The two AIR ports in the exhaust manifolds want
to be capped off. People make pretty blockoff plates,
but ugly will do. Use the gaskets as a template, a
few minutes with a drill, hacksaw and bench grinder
on some flat steel stock, and you're there.

If it pulls vacuum, plug it. If it blows exhaust, cap it.
If it don't do nothin', cut it off short.

thing is is that im puttin on race style pacesetters so im not concerned with block-off plates, just that 1 hose that goes to the back of the intake.....
