New Holden cover and lid pics
That is the newly painted Holden cover and the newly painted lid. Now my aluminum dress up panels don't look so nice. I was thinking of having them painted the same silver as the other two items, and maybe having them flamed as well.

As for the power steering, I have a stainless steel disk that I put over the hole. But, I have been thinking about getting the GTO power steering. It will fit perfectly. It should mount to the block and line up with the other pulleys. And, its reservoir cap goes through that hole.
I'm just not sure I want to spend 200 or whatever it is just to have the hole look a little better.

It is froma Holden vehicle in Australia. I had to modify it a lot to get it to fit. Then I had the Holden logo filled in and had it painted. I didn't think it woudl look right to have that hole filled in, so I didn't have it done.

It woudl have taken a LOT of filler to fill in the hole and I think with the holes on the other side, it woudl have looked out of place. When I have the stainless steel disk in place, it looks pretty good, like its supossed to be there. The disk also has a hugger orange LS1 sticker on it. But, if I get a GTO power steering pump, It will look really good.

I have one of these, haven't put it on yet. I have the
AT dipstick and a STB to deal with on mine. Using the
catch-can to fill one of the holes is a neat idea. The
PS reservoir side needs something though. Probably
just cut back the whole well and 'glass it (or solvent-
weld a backing plate?) from the underside and make
a shallower fill.

jimmyblue,
There was no hole for the catch can. That was the hole that I had to cut for the EGR. I did away with my EGR and opened the hole up a bit more.
As for the power steering, I think I will probably end up buying a gto power steering pump and reservoir to fill that hole.
I am buying a Hotchkis STB. I went with Hotchkis, because it is easily removable from its brackets. Plus, I think I could make taller brackets if need be to get over the cover.
