Default check out my new grill (ZL1 style)

ok i am new at this whole posting pics thing but here goes: enjoy the pics!
close up before it was installed

installed

still closer shot of the grill and bowtie installed

over all i am really happy with the way it turned out. the bowtie is off a 69 camaro and does not fit the way the i would have liked it to fit but it was very cheap on ebay.

let me know what you think

thanks, i am glad that you like it!!
if you look at it from the top you can see that the curve of the grill is greater the the curve of the bowtie or vice-versa, amyway you can kinda see what i mean here

now that i look at it from that view it is not so bad, i am very happy with the way that it looks

Looks nice from the front but if it fit more flush on the grille, it would be better.

I did the same thing and I know what you mean about the fit.
Sorry I know it's not the best picture but you get the idea.

It looks very good. I see what you are saying about the emblem no setting on the grill right. The first thing that cauught my eye was the upper left and right corner where there is some space.

Is that suppose to be like that?

man i tried to buy that same grille from that dude on ebay i offered him like 80 for it. the way he described it it the emblem fit in the grille like recessed into it,that kinda sucks it dont but either way it looks great from the front.

i bought the grill from grills4u and the bowtie from ebay, and i modded the emblem to sorta fit the grill, i saw the one that you were talking about, Vodas00ss. i think that i spent less that 50 for the both items including shipping.

I like it. Is it posibble to heat if up to make it flexible then form it to fit?? I would be real intersted in doing this if it fit flush to the grille.

That's why the angle doesn't match the grille. GMMG has always used a Chevelle bowtie which matches the angle of the Stull grille exactly. The Camaro bowtie is THE WRONG ONE and is a common mistake people often make.
