Default ram air baffles

i took out my ram air baffles awile ago i left the front ones in to keep the rain out, yesterday i sealed my ram air with a gasket to the box, is it safe to remove these final 2 baffles from the nostrals and use some epoxy putty to smooth out the walls of the ram air for a nice smooth ram air intake, or is this a bad idea? (i do still drive in rain...and snow, for app 2 more years)

i have had both of my baffles out for over a year. no problems. and i would see something on the inside of my clear lid and nothing. if its raining that hard, you are not going to be driving that fast to get water in there. haha. ive lost my horns before i got water in the intake

I bought the BG Ram Air, but with putty. I guess it is worth a try, go for it!
