Thumbs up EAA Oshkosh

I'm headed up to EAA Oshkosh, in Oshkosh Wisconsin for one of the worlds largest air show's this weekend. I'll be their friday through sunday. Its always a good time as there are many times of aircraft from vintage, warbirds to modern on display. My fav types are the warbirds and other large displacement radial engined aircraft. Nothing beats the sound of an aircraft with four 3000+ CI of displacement engines

Anybody else here plan on going?

I went to it once when I was younger, I wasn't a fan of it ( It was hot and I was stuck with my mom's boyfriend who wouldn't buy me something to drink... ) but it was neat to watch I will say that. I'm sure it's only gotten better though! It's way way too hot outside to go to there.

Its a great show. Ive been there 3 years for free, and its a lot of fun. I would recomend it for anyone in the area.

SmokingWS6- I know for a fact that its the largest air show in the world. Actually surpases altanta airport in the most in and out flights.

I had a great time. Enjoyed watching the warbirds fly as always. Walking through the many hundred rows of private aircraft is much like a domestic autoshow, most are made by the "big 3" small aircraft manufactures, Beechcraft, Cessna, and Piper. I saw a few LS1 Fbodys driving around Oshkosh but I always got strage looks when I waved at them. Probably since I was rolling in an 03 malibu. lol

I met the builder of the LS1 airplane while I was there. Technically it'll be the worlds fastest LS1 coming in at over 250mph.

very cool!
