GT goes down hard Well the other me and couple of my buddies from my team were chillin at my house, when we get a call that this other crew's leader wants to run me, he has a 03 GT with **** done but never tells no one. Only problem was that my car was at my cousin's house which was about 45 minz away. Also most of my other teams cars were getting work done on them or out of commision at the time. So one of my friend's was there in his 92 hatchback and said i aint going to let them disrespect our team like that, so he said ill race him. So we pull up at the spot and the guys like where is your car and im like not here your going to race our hatchback, and he starts laughing and talking ****, so i put $100 up and he was up for it, by the way my friend's hatch has a GSR swap with a fully built Stage 2 head, and complete bolt on's and sitting on DR's and is also gutted. So we head out and race best 2 out of 3. 1st race my boy puts about 2 1/2 cars on him and the guy says that he fucked up on the launch. So 2nd race my boy misshifts and we lose, so im like **** i hope he dont **** up again. 3rd race was like heaven, hatch dumps the clutch at 6,000rpm jumps about a 2 cars and wins. The guy in the GT is pissed but pays up and says how much you squeezing, and were like nothing, all motor. He was like pop the hood then, and my friend then was like naw, you never want to show ur your hood, we aint going to show ourz. Then we bounced. A fun night. By the way our team has GM's, Ford's, and imports. We like all sorts of cars.

Yah but 6,000 rpm launch is nothing for him hopefully the guy is the GT is out next week so ill smoke him hard. His license plate frame says "Hoofbeats are louder than Heartbeats" haha. Im like i bet you hear alot of heartbeats than cuz they always in front of you. LOL

australia guy- we do NOT have "teams" for street racing here. this is probably his car club which he calls a team, like it is a sport or something.
i had a similar experience in high school with a mustang and a gsr/hatch (buddie's hatch- vs. boltons 5.0 mustang). we put a WELL hidden 75 dry shot on the gsr and the gsr took him 2 times by like a car or so. fugging hatch was breaking up the last half of the last run
- but he still won. the stang wanted one last try and i convinced the hatch driver to not push it, it probably would've blown up. stang driver to this day does not know the hatch was sprayed.

ok, i had about 5 comments about the "team" thing, but they have all been said, whats the power to weight ratio of the hatchback?
