Question regarding flexplate...
I have a 2000 Z and in a few weeks I'm getting a torque converter, tranny cooler, and shift kit installed along w/ a trans temp gauge. My question is this, I've read on this forum that some 2000 had the old style flexplate and some have the newer (flimsy) one. Is there anyway to know for sure which one I have? Or should I just spring for a TCI unit??? Thanks.

The weaker flexplates are on the 01 & 02, however while you are in there, you should replace the flexplate with the TCI unit.
