He'll throw a code because the egr isn't connected properly. May as well disconnect it from the intake manifold too and buy an adjustable freeze plug to block it off. You'll get more power and have a huge exhaust leak. You need a blockoff plate for the passenger side header to fix that. Can't think of anything else that would cause a problem except you are going to be one sore **** this weekend.

The block off for the intake is a 1 3/8 rubber freeze plug. I got mine from Advance Auto for under $2.00 As for the block off plates I believe I read that 22 gauge steel works just cut them out with some tin snips. You will need three two for the air system and one foe the egr and don't forget some hi temp rtv so that they won't leak. Good luck.

Your question has been answered but I'm curious as to why you're getting his go fast parts and he's going back to stock.

13 hrs. and you haven't even managed to get one header off? What seems to be the problem? The car has to be like at least 3 feet off the ground. You are taking them out from the bottom right? Try this link to see if it helps:

take of the two the screws and the metal plate right next to the oil filter, and disconnect the steering column thing and they should just come out....its not fun but hearing your car start up after the install.............priceless
