01 SC WS6 VS. 03 Chevy SS Truck i was just wondering how i would do in a race against this guy that wants to race me.
he says he has a supercharger of some kind not vortech or ati or anything but has a different looking one and some bolt ons and such. says he has about 560-600hp to his truck not sure about at the wheels or how that works b/c i think they are AWD but im not sure. this guy says he will take me from a dig b/c i wont get any traction. i prolly wont spin a lot b/c i can drive the AT pretty good but im on street tires 18/35/295. they do pretty good and i think i do pretty good off the line when im by myself but i havent raced anyone yet so im not sure.
now my car has the mods listed below and is putting out around 485 rwhp.
what do you guys think??
this guy wants to do this really bad for some reason and i just dont give 2 ***** b/c im goin to florida to live in about 2 weeks and dont want to bs before i go. he prolly thinks that i am too proud or some **** but im not. i just am careful with my ****. especially this car.

i say t/a gets the advantage for sure...485whp damn
its a heavy, being a truck, i dont know how fast they can be having the AWD but i dont think he has the power to edge you out, but damn i would like to see this one

If he's got a 4x4 truck, then most likely it's geared pretty low. I can definitely see him getting the jump, but i'm pretty sure you'll be pulling like crazy once you hook up.

He will kill you off the line since you are on street tires. Once you get going you should run him down. He weighs about 5500 lbs and will be like a billboard going down the road the faster he goes the harder you will pull on him.

thats what i tell him too. i told him i want to go to the track on friday but i dont think they are gunna go. they want to do it on the street and i wont risk the ticket and bullshit if we are caught. f*** that. thats the last thing i need right now.
the guy does want to run for $500 but that wont help my insurance costs if i get a ticket.
ill let u know if we go to the track here before i move in a week.
