just posted this in the camaro section, and thought i'd post it here also, might be more effective that way.

ok, im looking for some help on this one. I'm looking into doing an ls1/t56 swap into my third gen. right now its a 2.8 auto. i know i need the as for the ls1, i have found this site http://www.crateenginedepot.com/LS1-Crate-Engine-Fuel-Injected-with-Computer-25534322-P12C2.aspx does this look good? and what else would i need to make it all work? as for the t-56, anyone know where i can get the whole set-up to convert a auto to manual? next i would need a driveshaft and rear end, any sugestions on this? iv been looking at strange or moser trying to decide what to go with. post opinions/advice or anything else that might help me out. how much do you think this will set me back? i have a rough estimate(very rough lol) but i want some others.

p.s. i also plan on painting her soon to, im thinking a dark red metallic with blac rally stripes and a 91/92 gfx kit and 91/92 high rise spoiler. any more idea's on colour scheme's?

Check out our conversions and hybrids forum. There are more than a few guys there who have done this very thing, and can walk you through it.

Depends on how far you want to go with your swap. Figure about 8500.00 to do a decent swap .There's just a few companies that specialize in parts for these swaps but there are parts available.

hinsonsupercars.com It does take some time to get parts, but well worth the wait.
