Default Fuel Pressure Question

If I have a stand alone fuel system does the fuel pressure really matter as long as I compensate with proper jetting? I mean carburated fuel systems are in the single digits of fuel pressure, fuel injection is in the 40's or higher. If I have a completely separate fuel system for my wet shot does it matter if I have it in carburated range as long as I jet for a carburated pressure.

Yes pressure can dictate jet size. You can trick jet into being bigger by upping the pressure (or smaller/lower). This can be used as a tuning aid with a wide band.

Thats what I was thinking.. But, thats the sort of thing you want to get a second opinion on before real world testing.
