It's an 85th anniversay Snap-on wrench that has some sort of chromalusion plating (not paint). They also did a royal blue plating with gold lettering.

I got to speak with the guy who did these, he works for zippo (the lighter company), wouldn't tell me what the exact type of plating or the process is though.

These were done in a line of specialty products. The guy from zippo had a case full of stuff they had done, some for sale, some not. If I find out they are for sale, I'll let you know.

You know I don't dog on Craftsman, they make a good tool, just not the best. Besides, they're made in the USA, that alone gives it respect.

I agree with that. Never have been refused a free replacement. Sears is about 2 miles from my shop.
