Now that my initial post with the pics of the new look has died down, I'll post a poll for everyone to vote in. I'm curious whether you guys think I should keep the stripes or lose the stripes.

Initially I didn't like the stripes and they were going to come off, but they are growing on me quite a bit. Still undecided on them though. Just wondering what the majority thinks. Thanks for any feedback.

I absolutely love them because they give even more of an edge to a hood that's damn cool already. Plus I'm a big fan of black on red accents.

I voted to keep them , I've never seen a raptor hood with blackbirds before ( although im sure there are many) You have something somewhat original and I think it makes the raptor hood look like theres actually something there! Keep em!!

looks great both ways.. lol.. But, somehow, the picture w/o stripes makes the car look much sexier.. maybe it's just the angle of the pic

Either way, car looks great with'em and w/o'em !!

In the first picture the car was lower by almost an inch, I didn't have any reflections in the paint, and I didn't have anything going on in the background, so it looks a little cleaner. The angles are close though so looking at just the car, the only difference besides the obvious stripes and front bird overlay is the ride height. The car had to come up for some more clearance once I put the true duals on (and I like it up, more aggressive and muscular looking).

Keep 'em. Gives more definition to the hood. Looks more aggressive… like the current stance of your car. Kinda goes hand in hand.
