Default Muffler length question

I think its time to get rid of my twister mufflers, so what's the longest chambered muffler you could run after the x on a dumped true dual system? I'm trying to get the longest I can so I can quiet it down some.

There's nothing wrong with them really. WOT sounds badass but at part throttle they make kind of a buzzy sound that I don't like much. Also, they're kind of high pitched and I'm looking for that deep, old school sound. I was was hoping someone could tell me if they've run a 24" or longer muffler cause my ship is out at sea right now and I can't measure them myself.
