Radiator work if hoses are switched?
This is about an lt1 radiator but they are near identical to the ls1 radiators. Im doing a gen 1 swap and the lt1 & ls1 hoses are too small for the thermostat housing and water pump and dont line up right. So instead of searching for days to find a compatible hose or buying an expensive flex hose i thought maybe i could hook the hoses up like conventional radiators do. (top driver side to thermostat and lower pass. side to the water pump) Will this radiator still have the same cooling effect? Will flow be lost? What are the downsides of this?

I don't have any experience with that, but it seems like the water pump would have to "push" the fluid through the radiator for that to work. Most "convential" radiators the thermostat is located higher than the outlet of the waterpump.
