Default Carbon Fire

Yep- you read the title correct. I have been wondering what tru fire would look like painted over CF. So I did a little test piece to humor myself. I think it looks awesome. Not only do the colors of the fire change in the lighting, but the carbon fiber changes by looking at it from different directions. So you have a 3D looking paint over a 3D background. Its very cool. I didn't spend a whole lot of time sanding the CF smoothe just because I knew this was a practice piece anyways, so it is a little wavy, but you can get the idea. I tried to take some shots in different lighting and from different directions to show how everything changes under different conditions. What do you guys think?

Now that you know it looks sweet what are you going to do with your new found idea?

Thanks guys Brett- yeah, the kandys took longer than the actual flame painting part. And theres no going back over when your done and "erasing" any mistakes with black either, so you gotta get it right the first time. It is for sure harder.

WOW. if you are truly that talented with flames and fire im sure you could make some real $$ with it, if not you could definatly make yourself a good hustle on the side. im sure people would come from far away to have some work like that put on their car.
