Default gauges

i have a trans am and i am looking to put three gauges were the air vent in the center are if u know what im talking about. i have seen it done b4. i will most likely be getting a boost, air/fuel ratio, and oil pressure guage. my question is should i get electric or mechanical gauges? what is the difference, please help, thanks

Electirc. With mechanical you need to plum the gauges with lines, and you don't want fuel or oil inside the cockpit of the car. Go with electircal it's a few wires, and you're done.

Hell yeah electric all the way! Thats what I did. If you run the mech. ones, you will have to mount them outside of the car.

Go with elcetric.. Make sure you get the 2 5/8" so they fit nice in there.

Exactly what I was thinking. The 2 1/16" won't fit at all. The 2 5/8" fit snug.
