I love the sound. Aren't they supposed to be 2.5 liters when they switch to the 8's?

Was it hitting a rev limiter at 20002 rpm? It didn't sound like it broke...

Simply Amazing....the internal forces on the rods, crank, and pistons has to be insane at 20K rpms!

The piston speed in a Nextel Cup car is actually about the same as an F1 engine because of the much longer stroke. I love those F1 dyno movies!!

I wonder if he's running hardened pushrods.... LOL I'm kidding... I know they are magnetically actuated valves...

As for the video with the glowing headers.... I wonder if they need JetHot coating....

As for the video with the glowing headers.... I wonder if they need JetHot coating....I thought they were pnuematic actuated valves running nitrogen gas.

Doesn't hit 20K rpm, but it still makes all the right sounds.
