Default installed catch can wrong

could i do any harm if i had installed my catch can wrong. i realized today after checking the can it was bone dry. it has been aobut 3 weeks and in all my infinate wisdom it took me this long to notice. its been about a 3 weeks. i am goin to fix it tonight but wasnt sure if i had messed anything up on the car. what do you guys think.

I would think the worst it would do is let oil into your intake. But, it was doing that before anyway.

yea i figured. what does the hose that goes from the top of the TB to the front of the valve cover do? this is the part that i messed up.

cool guys all fixed. what is the best way to clean out the oil that is already in the intake. i figure now that i have some time to have the car down doin the rearend install i could work on cleaning the intake too.

Seafoam is a cleaner like GM Top Engine Cleaner.

You're engine will be fine. Did the same myself last year. Known others that have too.
