If that happened in the US, the lawyers would have the cops' balls as trophies on the wall, along with every dime from that city's coffers. All it would take is 1 sympathetic jury and the lawyers get rich, and the city goes broke.

i was waiting for the reporter to say "suddenly the police used a cable to closeline the suspect off the motorcycle ending his short lived getaway". but the car was priceless. Too bad we can't do that here. He shoulda asked for a helicopter.

lol all teh asshole wanted was drugs the news guy said. In spain aint it not so tough to get drugs? I guess takin hostages to get drugs seemed like a good idea at the time.

Cops have no liability during a high speed chase. Maybe that same lack of liability should be used when chasing down an idiot like the bank robber. That would be sweet.

I agree, it could have been someone going through a green light not expecting a criminal on the run coming through and then their family gets hurt/killed.
