Ok this sucks major ass man i was driving last night to a sushi place to get some food. When i get to this red light and i stoped, the light turns green and i go big deal u say right?? well about 00 feet or 350 maibe a little more feet down the light iam going at like 40 miles an hour so i desice to speed up i take my car up to 3k rpm and i give it a little gas i dint even steped on it i just gave it some gas, it had rained earlier so the read was still kinda damp but it wasnt to wet so i dint give it much though. Now i bet u can all see where this is headed. WEll all of a suden without any and i mean any warning the rear end comes around violently and i mean violently the car swerves back and forth i was hoping it would correct itself like it had done countless times before so i dint really fight it i just tried to notch it in the right direction but it dint't work so it spins left it spins right bak to the left all over the damp asphalt i was. Finally it slides to the right with a violent spin across 2 lanes of trafic into head on traffic i slam into the median so hard that concrete goes flying around everywhere the nose goes up then back down followed by the rear end. Finally after a full 180 the car comes to rest on the other side of the road.

A quick look around shows the two driver side rims are destroy but everything else seems fine thank god. So i tried starting the car to take it off the road into a parking lot she wont start i can feel the first waves of panic kreeping up the back of my neck but i keep my cool. Finally she starts and i manage to drive her off to the side quite a task with two blown tires and rims that are shot to hell. Well she gets there and dyes, not sure why the engine looks fine do this cars have some kind of safe mode that could explain the engine shoting off like that???? A shit so much for my vacation well fellows iam going to go check the car out now in about 10 mins which me luck hopefully it was just the rims and nothing else please let it be just the rims. IF anyone got a pair of sixteens out there with tires on plz plz let me know and if possible hook me up with a good price man.

Well i guess i'll see if the car even runs much less go out of town like i planed tham this sucks and bush gardens and the hotel where already pre paid noooooooooo. Sorry for the long as thread guys i just needed to get that shit of my chest before i blew.

Dude that sux a donkey d*k!! I had that EXACT situation happen to me. Only on black ice!! The rear decided to say EFF YOU, I'm not staying on the road! I went off the road into a snowbank. All I saw as I was sliding sideways was a TREE!! OH F*K!!! I was drunk and frantically digging my car out!! This was 6 months after I got my car and over a year since my last accident. I wasn't speeding and it was warm eariler in the day, so it iced up at night. I put it in 4th or 5th to save gas and gave it a hir too much throttle, and she spun out VIOLENTLY!!

i know where you're comming from!! It sux!!

That happened to me yesterday (but I didn't crash). It was really wet out and I accelerated a bit too much into a turn from a stop. The rear broke loose and I almost slid off the road but managed to correct it in time.

You definitely have to be extremely careful in rain/ice conditions.

Finally got an Fbody I see :thumb:

If its your first RWD car it'll take a bit of getting use to. After awhile you'll never want another FWD car.

Yeah I figured it would take a bit to get used to. I already like it better than FWD though. :)
