Default '98 tuners

had a thread about this but i guess it got deleted so ill "bump" this one instead. im trying to find someone in the atlanta area that has hp tuners for a '98 or ls1 edit. need to get some codes taken care of along with just a good tune after putting on headers. thanks for the help

Billi Lawler @ Prescribed Power or Ron & Mike @ GMMG..all have done work on my PCM for me at different times... give Ron a call and set domething up..

Well, I can delete the codes for you no problem now. However I still don't know diddly **** about tuning yet. Can't even get my H/C car idling yet.

I'd love to but it's a huge pain in the *** with it stalling all the time. Don't want to **** to many people off in traffic but I think I'm just gonna say hell with it and do it anyways.

Just kinda pissed off that I have HP Tuners but I can't figure out how in the hell to make it idle by programming. I got a feeling that tuning is going to be an extremely difficult task. Oh well.

Car is running extremely rich right now, like burning your eyes rich, so I'd like to have that straightened out just a little before driving around too much.

It will pull its **** together if you ride it..my cam is more agressive than yours is and mine got smarter by driving it..get out where you can do something beside bumper to bumper stop and go..

I'll give it a shot, gonna have my gf follow me and make sure she pays attention to if I stall out or not.

I 4got that you were running an automatic...your gonna need a tune real soon to make it driver friendly..but get it out an run it..it should idle ok in neutral...

well i know someone that can use hp tuners, he just doesnt have them for a 98...we usually meet every friday/saturday night at the 985 park n ride to hang out and wut not. if you wanna come he could prolly get them both knocked out fairly easily.

I'm going to today. Someone wants me to get him some logs and he'll tell me what to change so I can atleast get it driveable. Once I get on the road everythings fine, it's just getting there without hitting traffic that I'm worried about.

The 985 park n ride is probably a long *** way from my house. I'm off wade green on 75.

You are right about that..its in Buford mall of georgia exit (ga. hwy 20)..the end of the earth...
