On the quiet side I"ve heard magnaflow and hooker sound good, (they also supposedly flow the best) for a little deeper tone I've heard mufflex, and spintech sound good, and for borla, it depends on how you tune it with the little plate.

www.ls1sounds.com is your friend in this.

I like the Corsa setups, B&B sounds great too. I rarely see anyone posting with the B&B, but I heard a couple different cars with this on the PowerTour, and was amazed.
Personally I think the Borla is too loud and raspy for my taste. Magnaflow sounds pretty good, as does hooker. The Magnaflow tends to get a little raspy sounding though.

Go Corsa/ B&B

Either Hooker or Magnaflow. I went with Magnaflow and the sound is amazing, I absolutely love it. Its not overly loud, but it is still pretty loud.

If I went with the Hooker Catback I'd have to have different tips though, that straight cut just doesnt look right.

I love the sound of my hooker cat back with an ory. Although I got a shitty kit that was most likely returned by someone.

Default so what is the difference...

in power between a true dual setup and a catback. Every seems to get catback systems w/ headers, but wouldnt a true dual setup benefit you better w/ headers? Just wondering if I should spend a little extra on a true dual setup. (and yes I have been to ls1sounds so dont tell me to go there!!)

I went with the Borla and a QTP electric plate. Through the Borla light rumble Open it sounds like **** breaking too loud....but scary.

If your willing to spend the money, Corsa hands down. I have just as much interior noise as i did when i was stock with the slp dual/dual at cruise and it SCREAMS at WOT. No rasp without cats. And the tips are by far the best IMO.

The only thing I do not like about the Magnaflow (sometimes) is the drone at 2500 rpm to 3000 rpm when driving over 70 mph. Otherwise, a great muffler.

If you want a loud, non-dual exhaust, sure... If you're thinking about running it with headers, might as well go tsp duals...

My friend has QTP's, catted Y, and Magnaflow. Its smooth, silky - reminds me of opening up a Victoria's Secret catalogue, but its too quiet for my personal taste, and the tips are HUGE.

I love the sound of GMMG on my other friends '00 WS6 with LG LT's.

I have Borla, open plate, and its sick, but from the feedback I'm hearing, when I put on my LT's this winter, it may be so-so; in that case, if I don't like it, I'll go to Corsa, because its just beautiful (Borla was on the car when I bought it).

Honestly, Corsa, GMMG, and Magnaflow (and others, too!) are all good choices.

I Have The Corsa Cat Back With Stainless Works Ory Pipe And A Bullet Muffler On The I-pipe. At First I Was Running Without The Bullet Muffler But It Was Way Too Loud And Raspy For My Taste But With The Bullet It Sounds Sweet With Mild Rasp. Everyone Is Running Borla Mufflers In Place Of The Bullet But If Your Intrested Just Do A Search.. Hope This Helps
