My girlfriend wants one, and damn I would by one for myself it they had more HP. Heres two G35 that she found on yahoo auto. I think the deal is fake or something is wrong with the cars, both deal are priced about 18,000 to 20,000 dollars less then they should be.

What do you guys think? and how good are these cars?

10k? I think that is B.S. They are really nice cars though, I like them a lot. Just be sure to get the coupe, otherwise I dont think they look that good. But definitely shop some where else for a G35, because that price is to good to be true.

My and my uncle both have Q45's and those fuckers run forever.... my uncles has over 400K miles on it and still runs fine... but yeah the G35 is a sweet looking car. there is nothing hotter than a woman in a 40K 2 door :D!

Nice looking cars and they run good. I dated a girl with one and it kept blowing speakers. Then the doors rattled because the techs at the dealership didn't replace the panels correctly. In reality, they are just a luxury Nissan. Similar to buying a Tahoe vs. an Escalade. The auto manufacturers find a way to make you dig deeper in your wallet.

edit: I would buy a Altima or Maxima for a driver. Driven both and they are nice.

Uncle ownes one. Had the opportunity to take it out, and they are fun to drive. Not the low end torque LS1 owners are used to, but they handle like go-karts. I could weave in and out of highway traffic at 80 mph (if I wanted to :-)). The are really tight handlers and once you get them in the higher RPM's, are fun to play with. But you are paying for luxury over speed.

Negative. G35 is a bigger car. DRivetrain is the same/similar...

You can get a sedan in either Stick or Manual.

I love the Coupes... in fact I want one as a daily!

I like them. I prefer a g35 more then the z. I like the looks better. If the price sounds too good to be true, make sure you run a carfax and know everything about the car before you buy it. Might have been in a wreck or something. Good luck.

Just for clarification there is a G35 sedan and coupe. Not sure which one his girl wants but:

The sedan (4 door) is offered in the G35 (5-speed auto w/ 280hp), the G35 X ( 280hp All Wheel Drive) and the G35 6MT w/ 298hp.

The coupe is the sports car and is offered in a 5-speed Automatic (280hp) and a 6-speed manual (298hp).

Oh....if I HAD $ 31,000 (base price) I would buy a "Z" for a daily driver...the Z06 that is!!

One of the sexiest designs to ever come from Japan, for both the coupe and 4 door. I'd rate it right up there with the looks of the Supra, MR2, 300ZX, NSX, and Miatia.

The G35 coupe is one sweet looking car! They sell pretty well up here, in fact the guy who owned my Corvette before me traded it in on a G35 coupe (I bought my Corvette from an Infiniti dealer)

I'm thinking about getting one in a couple months since I'll be getting rid of the WS6 and the Mustang.

I can understand wanting the stang gone but just out of curiousity why get rid of the either of them?

I can understand wanting the stang gone but just out of curiousity why get rid of the either of them?

Premium costs too much--and I rarely drive the WS6 (work parking lot was too small to comfortably park the car--now I work nights tho), which has less than 11K miles on it. Neither of the cars are under warranty now, and I don't want to be stuck with the expenses should something need to be replaced.

The SO got rid of his Z28 for a new Acura RSX because he needed something that would get better gas mileage in bumper-to-bumper traffic and that didn't need work done on it (out of warranty).

I love the car--but I want something a little smaller. One of my coworkers just got a 350Z, another is thinking about picking up another Corvette. We're all into nice cars, but I need something a little bit more practical. Payments and insurance aren't an issue, and I have a nice chunk of OT in every paycheck (the joys of being a full-time, yet hourly, computer profession) along with all my differential. Going to drive the Mustang for the next couple months (which is what I do anyway) and then look at getting a new car.

I don't race either car, and I don't have the time to detail them since I'm more keen on spending time with family and friends nowadays than my cars.

I drove a friend's (04) but didn't nail it because it was real new and he was riding with me. Beautiful car and that's all he's into;performance means nothing to him.

I think the G35 coupe looks pretty sweet. The backseat area is smaller than a Camaro IMO.

The G35 sedan looks dated to me. I have driven one that had a 6 speed manual and it was okay.

My brother just bought one, He loves it! Nice quality and it's not fast but it's quick enough to keep you from falling asleep.

My mother has one. It is fun to drive but if you are tall its not that great of a long trip car. Since the steering wheel is so close to the dash I have to move the seat up to reach it and it leaves me in an uncomfortable position, kind of like driving a go-cart everywhere. Also the gas mileage isnt that great, my WS6 gets as good of mileage as it does.

I think the G35s are sweet. The one you are looking at in the ad has to have a salvage title to be priced like that.

Ive got a buddy with a REALLY nice one for sale.. in the smoked silver color with the Willow leather interior.. Every option including navigation..

I love that car, very nice to drive and not a slow POS..

If you think of getting one let me know.. much cheaper than new and this one is very well cared for with only 12K miles...
