this might be a dumb question. But what are the benefits of a dedicated fuel system and low press vs. high press?

With a dedicated fuel system you can run regular pump gas in your gas tank and still a big shot. In the little tank just run some race gas. High pressure is for fuel injection, and low pressure is for carbs.

Thats what I have learned anyways.

I'm going to the track next weekend. Would it be beneficial to put 2-3 gallons of race gas in the tank for the juice? I've read that it doesnt really help you if you're running NA,but have never heard anything for the spray.

Jaypee....do a search on race gas an nitrous. There is alot of info out there. Or if you dont find what you want start a new thread on race gas on motor vs nitrous. Try to keep this thread about Daves badass fuel cells

I wish I didnt already have my ugly *** Jazz setup or I would have bought one of these. Makes it so damn easy and looks great.

Oh grrrrrrrrr...I don't have a nitrous kit yet, but as soon as my wheels sell, I'll probably buy this since this deal is so good, and it is such a nice looking piece.

Oh, but I do have a tech question about this system...I'm guessing you can change the fuel pressure on this to alter your AFR when you are spraying. Now, since I have HPTuners and a Wideband, I can also tune my car to reach the desired AFR. So is it better to adjust the stand alone system to get the desired AFR, and have a tune that backs down the timing, OR just have a tune that backs down timing AND adds fuel (though the injectors)?

Ok,
This system is just for the nitrous side. You will adjust you NA air fuel through your computer. You will adjuts your airfuel on nitrous through changing the fuel jets in the nozzle. If you need a small adjustment you can do it with fuel pressure.

Dave, that's all I needed to know. So how much of an adjustment can you make with the fuel pressure alone? 0.5 AFR or so?

I like to say making your changes for small changes are ok for using the fuel pressure. If you need big changes.LIke you did a pull and your air fuel was high 10s or so I would do a jet change.

The pump is a walboro 340.
At 10 PSI you can run upto a 1200 HP shot.
At 45 PSI you can run up to a 900 HP shot.
