Not sure if this has been addressed, if so sorry for repost.

On the emails for topic subsription, I always get the link as

http://www.ls1tech.com/forums//showthread.php?t=362539&goto=newpost

Notice the double slash (//) after forums. This causes my webmail to break the link and only highlight the "http://www.ls1tech.com/forums" part and takes me to that page. Now if I copy and paste the link it always works fine.

But I also noticed that it works fine with a single slash if you modify the link.

I used to run PHP forums and I got a feeling someone put a slash at the beginning of the link in the configuration screen.

Or is there a reason why the double slash is used at this site as opposed to every other site that uses normal html directory structure and slashes.

I forgot to mention this is only on Emails sent by LS1Tech.com. You can see how you normally surf the forum you will always be in a single slash format. So this has to be part of the configuration on the email part.

Yep, it's probably just a simple little thing messed up in the configuration... it's been like that for ages, though... And last month after Brains set up the trucks site, one of the other mods pointed out a problem with the email links for that site (which he then did fix), so I thought that was a good opportunity to suggest he fix this one too -- apparently for some reason he didn't want to bother.

Edit: Heh, glad to see it finally got done :)

AHHH you the man. Now I can click the links on the emails instead of copy and paste.

Cheers.
