Default Meziere vs Stock

Does the Meziere Electric Water Pump help reduce temps? If so, how much? What is the different between the street and race version of the Meziere pump?

Don't think the Meziere in and of itself is going to lower temps. That's more a function of the thermostat and your fan setting. The difference between the race and street versions is that the street version has a provision for the heater hoses while the race version does not.

If it does not help lower the temps, what is the purpose of changing to it other than the few extra ponies?

In stop and go traffic it runs a lot cooler due to higher flow at low rpm. And slightly cooler on the highway. The thermostat will turn the water flow on at a cooler temp but they will still rise over its rated temp. More flow through the radiator equals more heat exchange. As does a bigger more efficient radiator.

Yes but at a lot higher flow rate, especially at low rpm driving around town when it normally gets hotter.

Of Course The Water Pump Lowers The Temps! It Also Comes With A 160 Thermostat. How Do You Think You Get Extra Hp! The Pump Is Making The Car Run Cooler, Freeing Up Horse Power! A Cooler Car Is More Powerful Than A Hot Car!! So In Anwser To The Question An Electric Water Pump Has Been Proven To Increase Hp By Decreasing Engine Temp! Mine came with no thermostat, so did the 2nd and 3rd one i bought. There is also a parasitical loss from the stock pump from drag. This is also how it boosts hp, along with cooler temps.
