Halo's + Auto Headlights wiring question.
My Halo's are currently wired to the fog lights. I want the option to see my Halo's at night so I disabled the automatic headlights by unplugging the light sensor on the top of the dash next to the red security light, and inserted a paper clip in it's place.
Now, before I killed the auto headlights I had to flip on the fog light switch to turn both the fogs and the halo's on but my headlights had to be on for this to work, are they going to have to be turned on anways to get the fogs/halos on? Or should I re-wire the halos to the DRL's? and if so, how do you run the DRL's/halos at night?

When I get mine(next week) I'm going to wire them into the fog lights. I didn't do the paperclip thing to disable the DRL's. I clipped the wires going to the headlamp switch.
The foglamps still come on automatically at night due to the light sensor still being plugged in but you can still turn the fog lights on and off(obviously). Not sure if that helps you at all, it's late and my reading comprehension sucks.
