I was just wondering how you guys who have converted like the change? are you satisfied? Advantages, disadvantages, etc... I am really considering doing the swap and want a couple of last opinions before I do it!

I went from T56 to TH350 w/5300 stall. and i love it! The only thing that sux a little is the no overdrive. I put on some 31" street tires cause i highway drive ALOT. 70 mph is about 3500 rpm.Once i move close to my job i'll put some 28" radials on it and lower it so it doesn't look so goofy. I got RMVB and like shifting it myself a true auto would bore me. I LOVE not having to worry about it breaking at the track, missing a shift or smoking the clutch and my 60's are consistent as hell!

I am really wondering the same thing. I really want a built automatic w/ a stall for track purposes. But I am having a hard time giving up my M6 becuase its alot more fun driving around town. Can't make up my mind...
Most people's posts that I've read so far indicate they are happy with the change...
Especially if you are planning to get a transbrake, that makes it even more appealing.

Also, I wouldn't consider a powerglide unless your pushing 700 ft-lbs of torque or more and weigh less than 3000 lbs. Powerglides are more more high torque/low weight applications...
