Default Need to helicoil lifter tray bolt hole???

Putting heads on tonight, put lifters in, then trays on top, put bolts in that hold the lifter tray. One didn't tighten up, backed it out, and sure enough, just the most perfect cork screw piece of aluminum wrapped around the bolts threads! It sure looks like a helicoil that came out. Do I just install a new helicoil in the hole for this?

Thanks

i know when you helicoil you have to drill the hole out, and then use the tool to set the new helicoil in. so if it was a helicoil that came out, then you shouldnt have to drill, just put the same size helicoil in with the tool.

I just went to the hardware store and bought a couple of slightly longer bolts in 6mm, found one that worked perfectly. It went in just long enough to catch the helicoil that I put in and tightened down perfectly.

Thanks
