Default PCV valve question?

Can it cause a your car to surge froma vaccum leak? I replaced the valve right before the H/C install with an Autosone valve. Do I need to buy one from GM or will the one from Autozone work?

not sure on the autozone piece but if im not mistaken; a pcv valve is a um....well, a valve. If it doesnt work, meaning it is not opening it wont cause a leak.

MAybe you already know this but this is the first thing that comes to mind...

good luck!!!

I doubt that is the problem. Plug it off, and see if it helps any, but I bet it acts the same.
