LS6 cnc'd heads stock cam Would this mod be worth it? What kind of gains would be expected? Dont want to change drivability of car.....any help is appreciated.

There are lots of cam choices that will not affect driveability and give you a nice power increase with those heads. Do some research - the Z06 cam at 204/218 is one option.
