Sorry it took so long on pics

wow this thing is a blast to drive

The most amazing thing about this car so far is the gas mileage. I expected to be filling up every 150 miles or so, I've gone 100 miles on a 1/4th of a tank so far, it's getting better than my old gas guzzling pickup truck.

Nice car! Love the color! I still remember the day I picked up my car with 4 miles on the odometer, traded an old Toyota 4 cyl 4X4 pickup w/big tires for it - at every light I had to be careful not to run over the vehicle in front of me on the way home...

haha I traded in the exact same truck

I enjoyed my pickup but I think I'm going to like this car a bit more!

The hood is great, only bad thing is I have no idea where it ends!

In my old truck I could see exactly where the hood ended at and it was easy to park. Anyone have any tips?

Too funny...even with my mods I still get better gas mileage now than I did with that '94 22RE Toyota. Enjoy!

heh, all I can say: keep driving it

it took me about a month to "just know" where the frontend ends

it'll come.

enjoy the ride

Don't get too excited, the Fbody has the most non-linear gas gauge I've ever seen. I can get 100 miles on first quarter of a tank and then get 230 on a full tank.

ull get use to the hood sooner or later...... or if u ever wana trade my for my stock t/a hood, wink wink,......... and about the varing gass guage.......the first half of the tank will take forever but once the needle is on its way down i think gravity helps it a LOT.

200 miles at half a tank, I'm just waiting for it to fall all the way to empty lol

I'm already getting used to the hood, it isn't quite as long as you think when you're sitting in the car

I got a newbie question that I might as well put here

the car is an A4, what's the best way to do a burnout at a drag strip to warm the tires up?

It seems like holding on the brakes while flooring it will cause a lot of wear on the brakes, isn't there a way to make it so only the front brakes hold the car back?

Thanks.

Yepper - and don't let the gas gauge fall all the way to empty - always fill it at 1/4 to keep your fuel pump happy.

A member on here ran his tank to empty and fried his fuel pump. Don't let this happen to you.
