Default heads! which r best? ur opinion. Pat/AFR

stock cube, fairly mild cam, go with Afr 205's. Easy choice.

I agree with the 205's. The patriots shouldn't even be a factor against the AFR's.

I think the AFR 225's are the ultimate cathedral type head. But when the new GM LS7 raised runner type heads are avaliable along with the matching intake "look out"!

I see your getting a TSP cam. Have you look into PRC heads? TSP makes these heads. They set me up with a head and cam combo. Very nice people.

I hope money isnt an option, because your going to be forking out some cash if you go the AFR route. I have the Patriot stage II LS6 heads, and couldnt be happier & you cant beat them for the price. The customer service is awesome. Give them a call & see what they could do for you.

Of course money is always an option, but heads are the best place to spend the extra cash.

Let's just say your car is down 20 rwhp because you chose a budget head vs. AFRs. How much more are you going to wind up spending later to get that 20 rwhp back? And will those 20 rwhp come at the expense of crappy idle, stinky exhaust, and soggy bottom end power? That's usually what happens.

Patriot has worked hard to improve the overall quality and performance of our heads. Because of this dilligence, we offer a great set of heads, equipped with quality products, with great flow, at an economical price.

Which heads are the best for you?

This needs to be based on your combination and budget. We offer great power gains for the dollar spent.

For less than $2,000.00 we can sell you a head, cam, and Harland Sharp rocker arm kit.

If you would like, give us a call and we will be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Don't forget we can do chambers in 58,59,60,62,64,66,68, or 72cc and also to fit bores from 3.90"-4.125", at no extra charge and the head will be at factory deck height.

The exact mistake I made and it cost me large, all because of that first cheapest HP plan... but I am better now.
