Default TSP 228/228 114 Dyno

I've just got my car back from HPE where they instulled the TSP 228/228, .588/.588 ,114 LSA cam.I ended up with 365 on the Mustang Dyno (tuned by Chuk ). I'm little disappointed with what i got. i thought i'll get more than 365 which is around 385 on Dyno jet. Oh well, i should have gone with a bigger cam i guess. The guys at Hoursepower Engeenering were really great. They have an excellent customer service and i've really enjoied doing business with them.

I have the same cam. on a 112
I made close to 400 on a A4 and had the patriot heads. so if you are cam only, I think it sounds about right.
what other mods you got

Do you have a baseline to measure the gain? Track times?

That's not bad at all. I had mine on a Mustang Dyno....untuned...with a TR224, headers, 3500 stall, and 3.73s I dyno'd 316 and the car ran 12.20s.

365 is good.

did u do a base line on the same dyno? If you only had like 320 or so then that is a nice increase about 40 from just a cam, but with no base line it's hard to tell

no baseline or track times....theres a long story behind it. I have to retune so hopefully the car will be running strong again.

TSP228R on 112 mods and results in sig.

I really like this cam. I just got a truck, but it was great cam for a daily driver in my Z28. Not sure what to do now that I have the second vehicle.

I have a 228 with a 112 and love it. The car put down 419/398 with heads but runs like a champ. Don't let the numbers get you down. I have run door to door to a few cars around here with much larger cams and they put down close to 460.

It is an M6. I have QTPs, 3" Y-pipe, stage 3 SPEC, ASP underdrive Pully,LS6 intake and a Lid. i dont have any Track times with this cam yet but i'll get them very soon . My car made 317hp on a dyno jet but it was stock with a lid . i guess i'm gonna get the Fast 90 next month as 1 Hawk suggested and post the new results.

Let us know. I have been thinking about trying a 90/90 combo on mine. Do you have a cutout on the car and what exhaust after the Y?
