Default gear drive?
I want to put a gear drive in my Ls1, is it a good idea, and if so my buddy has a gear drive for a Lt1 and i wanted to know if it would work

Do you mean gears for replaceing timeing chain?? If so I have read it causes knock and there for an unwanted part.

unless you got rid of your knock sensors, it will not work, because they will cause false knock readings (too noisy)
