Default ***Exhaust cutout, 2 quick questions***

I am about to get an exhaust cutout. My questions are as follows:

If I run it "open" all the time, will it hurt my gas mileage?

Does it hurt/help performance in any areas? I know I wil be lacking backpressure but I was wondering if anyone saw any 1/4 improvements.

Thanks!

If you drive it the exact same, its possible. But you won't, you will be showing off more and that will only hurt mpg

A cutout will outflow any catback, so you will gain roughly the same as a catback exhaust, maybe more depending on placement.

Your MPG's will be fine. A cutout is also worth 10 hp or so, and 1 to 2 tenths at the track.
