Unhappy T-56 Rebuild Houston

Ok My t-56 is screwed. My car is my daily driver and I need to get it fixed ASAP at a reasonable cost. I live on the South Side of Houston and MTI is about a 45 min drive to get there (the car might beable to make it there). Other than MTI does anyone know of any good Transmission Rebuild Shops on the South Side of Houston? PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!!!

I hear good things about Icon. They're a sponsor here, located in Stafford.

**** Stafford is way to far. Actually I just got off the phone with the guys at MTI and after explaning what was happening they told me that they think it is the Throw out Bearing that is screwed up. Reason being is I only hear noise when i depress the clutch I have an appointment with them at 10 hopefully thats all it is and I dont have to have the Tranny rebuilt.

If you are in South Houston and come up the belt it might actually be closer than MTI.

Tranny was OK!!!

Here is what the Problem was --

It happend to be my slave cylinder, and pilot bearing. They both went to **** and the pilot bearing basicly shredded. Apparently the problem is with the Slave Cylinder in all 2000 and earlier models, and this happens to most after 50,000 miles. Anyhow I took it to MTI and those guys fixed it in about 4 hours. They installed a new clutch, new slave cylinder, and pilot bearing and it cost $863 ($350 of that was removing and installing the Tranny.) i just drove it home and it feels extremely better. I got lucky with the cluch though. My old one looked like it had been chewed on by a dog. They happend to just have a LS2 GTO clutch that they had just removed laying around that they gave to me for $200. Those guys over there are awesome. Kudos to MTI for getting me fixed in a matter of 4 hours.
