mac headers?

Default mac headers?

im thinking of getting mac long tube headers and im going to install them myself. do i have to lift the motor or will they go right on? and will i lose any ground clearence ? thanks.

macs are mid lengths. check the exhaust guide for an install walkthrouogh.

you won't lose any ground clearance but they will take about 4-5 hours to put in, shouldn't be to hard though.

If you have access to a lift it will make life much better to install them.

They arent too bad to install. Passenger side goes in from under the car, driver side goes in on top of the engine bay with the removal of the steering rack arm.

For me it was the other way around, i pulled my passanger side threw the top and the drivers side threw the bottom. They are the easiest set i have put in so its not going to take you that long but if your used to putting headers in it should only take at most 2 hrs.

Odd, mine was the opposite. The driver's side went in through the bottom with no problem. The passenger side dropped right in from the top after removing the valve cover.
