Default FS: 2001 cbr600 F4i

2001 Honda cbr600F4i
Silver / Black
Miles on chassis - 13,600
current miles on motor - 4,000

Mods: F.I. crash cage, reverse shifter, L.P. turn signals, tank guard.

Motor was taken out and replaced with a 2002 3,000 mile motor due to a third gear issue. Still have the original motor which will go with the bike. The original motor still runs fine except it will not stay in third gear (drops to second).

Purchase the bike and get the original motor plus a silver / black bike cover.

Title in hand

Great gas mileage

Asking $4,500

Has the bike ever been down or laid over?

Yes the bike was laid down and went sliding for about 40 feet when a deer slammed into the side of me. It did not go end over end thankfully. The plastics were damaged. I replaced all the damaged plastics with oem plastics that I bought off e-bay. Let me know if you want pictures of any part of the bike. I also have a complete cheetah fiberglass street fairing set. I bought this off e-bay because i was going to do a custom paint job after the bike went down. Although, I wanted to put it back to stock. These plastics are brand new and are going to be sold. These are a street kit so the headlight will bolt into the front.

Thanks,

Brian

FYI -

it doesn't take much to "total" a bike. My bike's been totalled when I let a friend of mine ride it. No damage other than a few scrapes on the fairings. But, bike plastic/fairings are expensive..and it totalled more than what the bike was worth, so the insurance company totalled it out.

It's a lot different than a car.

I did not make an claim to my insurance when the bike went down. The title is "Clear" You are correct because there are multiple bikes out there with "Salvage" titles. The only damage to these bikes was fairing / plastics.
